Search Technology's VantagePoint is a STTR/SBIR success story. It has evolved from series of research and development programs sponsored first by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Technology Office (ITO) and the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). Subsequent targeted development has been funded by the Office of Naval Research and components of the U.S. National Laboratory system.

TechOASIS is a specially branded version of VantagePoint, exclusively available to agencies of the United States Government.

TechOASIS v5.0 may be used by agencies of the U.S. Government for government purposes. For these agencies, there is no cost for downloading and using TechOASIS v5.0.  However, because government support ended several years ago,  TOv5.0 is no longer supported by Search Technology, and it is not compatible with the VantagePoint resources available on our web site. The v5.0 installation package contains the "self-support" resources funded under the STTR and SBIR programs (e.g. embedded Import Filter Editor, Analyst Guide, On-Line Help, and the VantagePoint Users Guide).

We recommend that U.S. Governement clients consider licensing the current version of VantagePoint.  In this way, you can get the latest updates of our products and support from Search Technology's Technical and User Support staff.  Training classes are also available.
